On 18th July 2026, Department of History and Heritage of Sukkur Arts Council organized a Lecture Program on the topic of “The Story of the Efferts made for the preservation, improvement and restoration of the Lansdowne Bridge”. Lectured by: a famous intellectual, writer, activist, columnist Advocate Suhail Latif Memon.
On 12 February 2026, Sukkur Arts Council organized a commemorative ceremony to mark the 48th death anniversary of the eminent Sindhi historian, Rahimdad Khan Moulai Shedai. Presented below are a few photographic highlights from the event.

On 10 February 2026, in collaboration with the Department of Culture, Government of Sindh, the Sukkur Arts Council presented the Sindhi stage play “Adhoora Khawab” (Unfulfilled Dreams), directed by Muhammad Ali Maitlo. The inaugural ceremony was graced by Dr. Arshad Mughal, Deputy Mayor of Sukkur, as the chief guest. Below are a few photographic highlights from the performance.
On 4 February, Sukkur Arts Council, in collaboration with the Culture Department, Government of Sindh, organized an Art Exhibition and a Seminar to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event was graced by Mr. Abid Saleem Qureshi as the Chief Guest, who, in his address, expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir and highlighted the importance of peace, justice, and human rights.
