On 16 February 2026, the Literature Department of Sukkur Arts Council organized the 38th death anniversary commemoration of the renowned Sindhi writer, translator, short story writer, columnist, and intellectual Rasheed Bhatti. The event featured research papers presented by several scholars, including Professor Sarwar Saif, Dr. Abdul Latif Ansari, Sachal Bhatti, Professor Manzoor Bedar, Jabbar Mahar, and Zahid Rahoojo.

On 12 February 2026, the Drama Department of Sukkur Arts Council presented the stage play “Ishq Na Puche Zaat” (Love Knows No Caste), directed by Babu Mastoi.

On 4 February, Sukkur Arts Council, in collaboration with the Culture Department, Government of Sindh, organized an Art Exhibition and a Seminar to observe Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event was graced by Mr. Abid Saleem Qureshi as the Chief Guest, who, in his address, expressed solidarity with the people of Kashmir and highlighted the importance of peace, justice, and human rights.
